Virtual Book Tour: Sirens In The Night by Michael Bradley

Hello Readers Welcome to my stop on the Sirens In The Night Virtual Book Tour! For my stop I have a review of the book. Enjoy!   Sirens in the Night By Michael Bradley Genre: Fiction, Supernatural Thriller Amberjack Publishing Book Description When three corpses are found at a construction site in Philadelphia, homicide detective Samantha Ballard is assigned to investigate the bizarre deaths. The bodies seem like a hoax – withered like ancient mummies, yet dressed in modern day clothing. As more mummified corpses begin to appear throughout the city, Samantha must embark on an investigation that erodes the line between the possible and impossible. Jack Allyn, a radio DJ who thinks his career is in a downward spiral, has his world rocked by the unusual murder of his friend. As Jack begins to search for answers, he finds himself coming face to face with a force that is as malevolent as it is entrancing. With his life in danger, Jack must join forces with Samantha to save the city from an evil that threatens the people of Philadelphia. But with the odds stacked against them, can Jack and Samantha save their city from a primeval force with a deadly purpose? Amazon / Goodreads / B&N My Review First of all, I like the play on words with the title ‘Sirens in the Night’. This book combines Greek...

Review: The Wicked City (Siren Song #1) by Megan Morgan

Title: The Wicked City Author: Megan Morgan Publication Date: March 3, 2015 Genre: Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance I received a copy of this book from the author and Goddess Fish Promotions for an honest review in anticipation of an upcoming Blog Tour for the sequel ‘The Bloody City’. Goodreads Summary: Whatever June Coffin says, goes—literally. And it’s not just because she’s a chain smoking rebel. As a Siren, June has the ability to force people to obey any command she voices. But in a world where those with supernatural powers quickly become lab rats for science, she’d rather look out for herself than fight on the front lines…until her similarly gifted twin brother, Jason, is captured by Chicago’s Institute of Supernatural Research. To save Jason, June has no choice but to enter a hidden world of conspiracy, murder—and strange bedfellows—including a widowed paranormal advocate whose memory June accidentally erased, and a fiery paranormal separatist leader. Soon the lines between attraction and strategic alliance become blurred. But in a city exploding with paranormal crossfire, and her brother’s life at stake, June will have to face her inner demons and finally take a stand.   My Review This first instalment in the Siren Song series is a fun and intriguing read with a creative twist on Supernaturals. The main character June is a Siren or ‘Aural Captivator’ who has the...
